Antonio Petruccelli

Antonio Petruccelli (1907 - 1994) was active/lived in New Jersey.  Antonio Petruccelli is known for Illustrator-magazine, mural.

The following is from Mark Petruccelli, January 2004:

Antonio Petruccelli was my grandfather. He died on November 11, 1994 of lung cancer at age 87. In addition (I have to double check the exact numbers) to approximately 25 Fortune Magazine Covers, 4 New Yorker Covers, several House Beautiful, Collier's and other covers he did numerous illustrations for Time/Life (most notably maps with indigenous animals, people or industries super-imposed), designed a U.S. Postage Stamp Commemorating the Steel Industry and designed the Bicentennial Medal for the Franklin Mint for the State of New Jersey.

He kept working right until the end and submitted (unsuccessfully) a cover for New Yorker within a year of his death. Two of his grandchildren carry on the tradition by making ther living in Design.
