Georges Borgeaud is a Swiss artist, born in 1913. He took courses at the École des Arts et Métiers in Geneva from 1938 to 1942 and subsequently continued his education on trips to Paris, Lyon, southern France and Italy. From 1949, Georges Borgeaud made a name for himself by participating in numerous solo and group exhibitions in and outside Switzerland. The paintings of Georges Borgeaud are mainly light-flooded landscapes, are characterized by a strong emphasis on the surface and a richly contrasting, strong color.
