Juli Yulevich Klever Jr

Juli Yulevich Klever, Jr (1882 - 1942) was active/lived in Russian Federation.  Juli Klever Jr is known for Floral, comestible and fish still life, forest landscape and winter scene painting.

JJ Klever was a Russian landscape and still life painter, son of the famous painter, Professor J. Klever (Sen.).  He first studied with his father and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich (1906-1908).

Since 1898, he participated in various exhibitions in St. Petersburg.  A solo exhibition of his work was held in Moscow in 1910.  From 1902-1906 and 1909-1917 he taught at an art school in St. Petersburg.  In 1942 the artist died tragically during the Siege of Leningrad during WW2.  His works are in many museums and private collections.
