Manuel Caeiro

Manuel Caeiro (Born 1975) is active/lives in Portugal.  Manuel Caeiro is known for Constructivism, drawing, architecture, painting, trompe l'oeil, three-dimensionality.

Manuel Caeiro is a contemporary Portuguese artist who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. His work is based on constructivism and explores the border between figurative and abstract, playing with the idea of trompe l'oeil. 

He creates a three-dimensional space using the repetition of overlapping geometric shapes and contours. Caeiro's work relates drawing, architecture, and painting, and he often dialogues with architecture and sculpture. He has exhibited individually since 1999 and has exhibited annually in countries such as Portugal, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Holland, Switzerland, and the United States. 

Among his most important exhibitions are the solo exhibitions Achieving Shadows (2014) and Palácio Vila Flor (2010). Among the collectives are Terceira Metade (2011) and La Colección (2011)
