Art for Sale
Andre Evrard

Andre Evrard (Born 1936) is active/lives in Switzerland.  Andre Evrard is known for Geometric abstract painting, mixed media, still life, botanics.

André Evrard occupies a singular place in the contemporary artistic landscape. By the originality of his work, sober and intense, rigorous and inhabited. By the mastery and thoroughness of his techniques, his connivance with matter, light, vibes. By the consistency and consistency of his approach. By the discretion and humility that surrounds them.

Born in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1936, bathed in watchmaking culture, he soon showed an irrepressible artistic vocation. He acquired, in parallel with a photolithograph apprenticeship, his training as a painter and engraver at the School of Art of his city, but also with several major artists met in his region, or during his stays in Paris.

Established on the Neuchâtel coast, he is one of the rare artists to live only from his works, for more than half a century. His work, widely recognized and rewarded with multiple distinctions, has been the subject of over a hundred exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad.
