Aristide Caillaud (1902 - 1990) was active/lived in France.  Aristide Caillaud is known for Painting and sculpture.

Aristide Caillaud was a self-taught artist who discovered his artistic talent while he was a prisoner of war in the 1940s. He was inspired by Max Ingrand, a master glassmaker and decorator who was also a prisoner of war. In 1949, Caillaud participated in the historic "L'Art Brut" exhibition at the René Drouin Gallery, organized by Jean Dubuffet. He went on to have personal exhibitions in Parisian galleries and two retrospective exhibitions of his work at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris in 1976 and at the Musée Sainte-Croix in Poitiers in 1978.
