Carl August Ehrensvard (1745 - 1800) was active/lived in Sweden.  Carl Ehrensvard is known for Painting.

A profile portrait of Ehrenswaard representing Meijerfeldt also entitled “Général Meyerfelt” in Ehrensvärd's hand, pen and gray ink, 16.8 x 16 cm., Is in the National Museum (NMH212 / 1968). Ehrenswaard has portrayed the known general as a brick wall, a siege weapon that has been used since ancient times to make holes in fortress walls. It consists of a long and coarse oak beam, which at the front end is provided with a metal wedge, usually in the form of a rubber head (Latin aries). In Ehrensvärd's picture, the eraser head fulfills another function, to make Meyerfeldt mock. According to Queen Hedvig Charlotta's gossip chronicle, Ehrenswaard deceived Meyerfelt with his wife. "Wearing the horn crown" is an old Swedish expression for a deceived man who originated in Molières, "L'école des maris", a comedy in three acts that appeared in Swedish translation 1741.
