Charles Pinet

Charles Pinet (1867 - 1932) was active/lived in France.  

Charles Pinet was born into a family from Cogny, in Beaujolais, attended the Thoissey college, in Ain, until obtaining his diploma, and was then introduced to the study of etching by Paul Taconnet. Subsequently, he settled in Paris, where he dedicated himself to the creation of etchings, very significant and appreciated works, in particular those depicting the city the Ville Lumière. He actively participates in the salons of the Artistes Français, of which he has been a member since 1905, and exhibits his works in various exhibitions. The large canvas illustrated here is certainly of great impact and captures the attention of those who look at it for the fascinating mysterious atmosphere that the painter managed to recreate, through the apparently slowed down looks and gestures of the three female figures at the center of the scene . Three women who identify with the three Fates, among the oldest personifications o   ...  [Displaying 1000 of 1817 characters.]  Artist bio
