Christopher Sanders

Christopher Sanders (1905 - 1991) was active/lived in England.  Christopher Sanders is known for Landscape, florals and cityscape painting.

Sanders was born in Wakefield, Yorkshire, where he attended the School of Art from 1922 until 1924.

The following two years he became a student at the Leeds School of Art, going on to study at the Royal College of Art for three years, up until 1929.

Sanders served as the Head of Painting at the Harrow School of Art. He exhibited at the Royal Academy at the beginning of the 1930s, and was inducted into the RA during 1953, becoming a Royal Academician in 1961.

In 1968 he won a gold medal at the Paris Salon
