David Mensing (Born 1963) is active/lives in Iowa.  David Mensing is known for Painting.

David grew up in Iowa developing an appreciation for open landscapes and wild places. When David moved west, the raw beauty captivated him. His ambition is to know and share that beauty through his work.

David understands striving to contain any moment brings assurance that the experience is too profound to really be contained. David carefully selects a title to reflect the purpose and spiritual basis for each painting. His architectural background contributes to his compelling designs.

Recent national awards include Southwest Art’s Award of Excellence – Best Landscape at Western Icons in Missoula in 2014 and Professional Juror / Best of Show in Art and Soul 2016.

David’s paintings are featured in numerous periodicals, including American Art Collector and Southwest Art, and are in collections and exhibitions across the nation and around the globe.
