Holger Peter Svane Lübbers (1850-1931)

Predominantly a marine painter, he captured scenes of the Danish east coast, including Copenhagen as well as southern Italy. He traveled extensively throughout Scandinavia and Europe.

Education:
1876-1879  Student at Prince Ferdinands Technical Drawing School
1879-1882  Attended The Royal Art Academy in Copenhagen
1882  Took time on his own to further his skills at marine paintings
