Born on the 5th of February, 1945 in the Northeast area of Texas, Jerry spent most of his youth developing his artistic skills. He grew up in the fascinating culture of the Dallas/Fort Worth art scene.  As a realist, Jerry was blessed with the God-given talent of an artistic eye and drawing and painting has been easy his entire life.

Jerry studied art all through out his early educational life and continued on to the Dallas County College-El Centro in Dallas, Texas . 

"I studied drawing and design between 1968 to 1970.  I was an advertising art major at North Texas State University in Denton, Texas.  I studied other various mediums but didn't start oil painting until mid January, 1969.   My first oil painting lessons were with Addie White of Irving, Tx.  I participated in many seminars as well.  I was fortunate to study under A.D.
