Jesus Marcos

Jesus Marcos (Born 1938) is active/lives in Spain, Argentina.  Jesus Marcos is known for Abstract, cubist painting.

Jesus Marcos studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Salamanca. In 1953 he emigrated with his family to Bahia Blanca, Argentina. In 1957 he began studying at the School of Fine Arts of Bahia Blanca. He also studied at the workshop J.C. Castagnino.

In these years he attended several important masters of painting as Antonio Berni Argentina, Enrique Policastro, Carlos Giambiagi and Miguel Diomede. In 1966 he toured Latin America and settled for a year in Mexico. He met Siqueiros and Pedro Coronel, who maintained a friendship for years.
