Judie Popplewell (20/21st century) is active/lives in Canada.  Judie Popplewell is known for Horse painting.

As a native of Calgary, Judie Popplewell has a passion for painting scenes from Alberta.  She has a profound love for horses, which are often the focus of her paintings.

After being inspired by spending many hours grooming and riding horses, she strives for accuracy in anatomy.  After experimenting with acrylics, watercolours, graphite and pastels, Judie tends to favour oils and has developed a passion for painting “en plein air”.

In 2015, she conducted her first workshop for artists in the Penticto.   Judie’s art has been juried into many prestigious shows in Canada and the US, and can be found in collections worldwide.
