Jurgen Brodwolf (Born 1932) is active/lives in Germany, Switzerland.  Jurgen Brodwolf is known for Painting and sculpture.

Jürgen Brodwolf was born in 1932 in Dübendorf, Switzerland.  From 1948-52 he trained as a draftsman and lithographer at the School of Applied Arts in Bern.  He then traveled to Paris, where he came into contact with the modern art movements such as Art Informel.

Back in Switzerland, he first worked as a graphic artist, restorer and glass painter.  In 1976 he was appointed professor at the 'Fachhochschule für Gestaltung' in Pforzheim.  In 1982 he received a professorship for sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart.  Brodwolf participated in numerous exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale in 1982 and the documenta 6 in Kassel.
