Kiejstut Bereznicki

Kiejstut Bereznicki (Born 1935) is active/lives in Poland.  Kiejstut Bereznicki is known for Allegorical figure, still life, mythology themed painting, teaching.

Kiejstut Bereznicki studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland where in 1958 he obtained a diploma in the studio of Professor Stanislaw Teisseyre. From 1960 he has been working at this university, and since 1982 he has been running his own painting studio. In the years 1981-1984 he was a Vice-Rector. From 1984 he was a professor.

He has participated in exhibitions since 1959, achieving many successes, such as: 1st prize at the National Exhibition of Young Painting, Sopot 1965, gold medal at the 6th Festival of Fine Arts, Warsaw 1968, award at the Third International Triennial of Realistic Painting, Sofia 1979.

He also participated, among others in the III Youth Biennale, Paris 1963 and the VIII Biennale in Sao Paulo, 1965. He had numerous individual exhibitions at home and abroad. He soon developed an individual style that distinguishes his painting as a separate phenomenon in Polish contemporary art.
