Modest Morato (1909 - 1993) is known for Enamel art and jewelry.

The artist's name is Modest Morato. He was the son of a jeweler and learned the art of enameling at a young age. He studied under Miquel Soldevila and became a self-taught expert in ancient Western and Eastern techniques. He applied enamel to various objects, including jewelry, plafons, chalices, and crosses, and invented new techniques such as enamel marquetry. He was a professor at the Massana School in Barcelona and traveled to different countries to research the works of great enamel masters of the past.
