Phan Mai Truc

Phan Truc (Born 1945) is known for Painting.

Phan Mai Truc was born in 1945 in Bên Tre, South Vietnam.  Doctor's degree at the Institute of Fine Arts of Ho Chi Minh City, in 2002.  Painter of history, animated compositions, genre scenes, watercolorist, pastellist, draftsman, poster artist, westerner.  He teaches at the Hochiminh City University of Fine Arts.  He takes part in numerous national and international exhibitions.

A painter of the war, he made valuable historical documents, from the war to the reunification of Vietnam in 1975.  Among his works, we mention: Return to the house burned 1968, The small messenger 1974, the border guard 1975 .  -_x0007_Emmanuel Bénézit, Dictionary of painters, sculptors, draughtsmen and engravers, Gründ, 1997.
