Ryszard Wozniak (1956 - 2012) was active/lived in Poland.  Ryszard Wozniak is known for Neo-expressionism, high color abstract figurative painting, teaching.

He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the painting studio of Stefan. Gierowski (diploma in 1981).

From 1982 he was associated with Gruppa,  participating in almost all of its exhibitions and actions. He co-edited its magazine Oj well already.

In 1987, he won the 1st prize at the 2nd Youth Biennale "Droga i Prawda" in Wroclaw. In the years 1985-1989 (with breaks), together with M. Sobczyk, he worked on the polychrome of the Neo-Uniate church in Kostomloty in Podlasie.

In 1986, together with R. Grzyb, he was on a scholarship in West Berlin. In 1991/92 he lectured at the private School of Art in Warsaw, founded and run by J. Modzelewski and M. Sobczyk.

Since 1992, he has been running a painting studio at the Institute of Art Education of the University of Warsaw in Zielona Góra. In his works from the 1980s, one can find a commentary to the reality of the People's Republic of Poland ("New Wave of the Fuck").
