Theodor Schultze-Jasmer was born in 1888 in Oschatz. He was a painter, photographer, graphic and email artists and artisans. During his childhood in Leipzig, he received his first drawing instruction. From 1904-13 Schultze-Jasmer took summer-long study trips to Zingst and from 1907-11 studied at the Royal Academy of Graphical Arts and Printing Arts Leipzig with Otto Richard Bossert, Walter Tiemann and Fritz Ernst Rentsch. After he worked as a freelance graphic designer in Leipzig. He took a 1914 study trip to Estonia and in 1920 moved to Heidebrink - Wollin in Pomerania. Shortly after in 1921 he moved to Prerow / Darß. In 1921 darßer Kunsthütte opened. He remained active in Prerow / Darss. During his career, Theodor Schultze-Jasmer was a member of: the General German Art Cooperative the Leipzig Artists' Association the National Union of Visual Artists of Germany the Exhibition Association Pomeranian Artists the Association of Fine Artists (VBK) of the GDR Thieme - Becker, Vollmer, Dressler, Eisold "artists in the GDR" and Wikipedia.   ...  [Displaying 1078 of 1192 characters.]  Artist bio
