Waclaw Borowski (1885 - 1954) was active/lived in Poland.  Waclaw Borowski is known for Painting.

Waclaw Borowski was born in 1885 in Lodz. In the years 1905-1909 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków with J. Mehoffer. He spent the years 1909-1913 in Paris, where he copied paintings by old masters from the Louvre collection. In 1927-1933, he taught painting and composition at the Institute of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Waclaw was a co-founder and president of the "Rytm" group, he also belonged to TAP "Sztuka". He dealt with monumental and easel painting as well as single and multi-color lithography. In his paintings, he combined tendencies to cubist geometrization with elements of classicism.
