William McEvoy

William McEvoy (fl. 1858-1891) was active/lived in Ireland.  William McEvoy is known for Painting.

William McEvoy was a landscape known originally for his views of Lord Powerscourt's formal gardens and waterfall, a famous Irish tourist attraction because of its scenic beauty.  He exhibited paintings at the Royal Hibernian Academy from 1858 onwards.

From his home at 14 Old Mount Pleasant, he continued to exhibit mainly landscapes from around Dublin.

By 1866 he had moved to London but continued to exhibit here.
