Leo Valledor

Leo Valledor (1936 - 1989) was active/lived in New York.  Leo Valledor is known for Geometric to minimal abstraction.

Leo Valledor attended the California School of Fine Arts on a scholarship, 1953-1955 receiving his B.A. and M.F.A. in 1961. He moved to New York in 1962 and became associated with the Park Place Group (which included fellow San Franciscans Peter Forakis and Mark di Suvero). Valledor returned to San Francisco in 1968.

Solo Exhibitions: The 6 Gallery, San Francisco, 1955, 1956, 1957; Spatsa Gallery 1958; Dilexi Gallery San Francisco, 1959.

Selected Exhibitions: Annual Painting and Sculpture Exhibition of the San Francisco Art Association at the San Francisco Museum of Art, 1961

Public Collections: The Oakland Museum.
