Alain Jacquet

Alain Jacquet (1939 - 2008) was active/lived in New York / England, France.  Alain Jacquet is known for Pop art, images over paintings, serigraphy.

Starting his career in France in the early 1960s as part of the pop art movement, he moved to the United States in 1964, settling in New York City.  He has done series where he places familiar images over copies of famous paintings.  After moving to America, he began working with serigraphy, and also did painting that was re-working of Old Masters----his versions.
