Boris Bilinsky

Boris Bilinsky (1901 - 1948) was active/lived in Russian Federation.  Boris Bilinsky is known for Wardrobe design, set design, and movie poster art.

Boris Konstantinovitch Bilinsky was a wardrobe master, set designer, and movie poster artist from Russia. He was born in Odessa in 1900 and left Russia in 1920 to escape the aftermath of the Revolution. He settled in Berlin and later moved to Paris in 1923 where he worked with the Studio Albatros, a production company in Montreuil.

Bilinsky designed numerous costumes for French cinema during this period and collaborated with Russian theatres. He is known for his exquisite designs for Alexander Volkoff's film Casanova and his work on Jean Epstein's Le lion de Mogols.
