Chengpei Wang

Chengpei Wang (- 1805) was active/lived in China.  Chengpei Wang is known for Drawing, painting, calligraphy.

Wang Chengpei (style name Chunnong) was a native of Qiantang in Zhejiang whose family originally hailed from Xiuning in Anhui.  The son of Wang Youdun (1692-1758), he was a Provincial Graduate (juren) of 1747.

He specialized in poetry and paleography, his calligraphy being similar to that of his father.  He also excelled at painting and was particularly gifted at landscape, figure, and flower subjects.
