Delvine Petyarre

Delvine Petyarre (Born 1982) is active/lives in Australia.  Delvine Petyarre is known for Aboriginal art, ceremonial painting of dreamtime story.

Delvine Petyarre started painting for Mbantua Gallery in November 2001 and predominantly paints the dreamtime story of the Atnwelarre (Pencil Yam). The dreamtime of the Atnwelarre was passed down to her from her father’s country, Alhalkere and although this is the only Dreaming that she actually paints.

Delvine also owns other Dreamtime stories belonging to Alhalkere country.

?Delvine’s paintings incorporate beautiful colours and brushwork inspired by her two older sisters, renowned artists Anna Price and Joy Petyarre.

Delvine grew up in Utopia, and currently lives in Alice Springs with her daughter and sisters.??
