Eliane Thiollier

Eliane Thiollier (1926 - 1989) was active/lived in France.  Eliane Thiollier is known for Painting.

Éliane Thiollier studied art at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and, in the 1950s, attended the René Jaudon workshop, where she refined her pictorial technique and began to learn lithography. She then left Paris and settled down in the Aquitaine region of southwest France. There, the reds and ochres that came to characterize her palette first appeared. She created very structured landscapes in fine and strong shades. French painter and lithographer born in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, student at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Eliane Thiollier also attended the René Jaudon workshop where he refined his pictorial technique. It is in Provence that she finds the characteristic colors of her palette made of red and ochre.
