Gustav Prucha (1875 - 1952) was active/lived in United States, Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia.  Gustav Prucha is known for Chariot race, sleighride scene paintings, horses, buggies, figures, city streets.

Illustrator and painter, mainly of genre scenes. He studied with JE Hörwarter at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and at the Academy of Art in Prague. He travelled extensively to Hungary, Croatia and Eastern European countries, where he drew inspiration for folk genre scenes.
