Heinrich Burkel

Heinrich Burkel (1802 - 1869) was active/lived in Germany.  Heinrich Burkel is known for Landscape, figure, genre paintings.

Heinrich Bürkel was a friend of Spitzweg and Adalbert Stifter, and was one of the most important painters of the Biedermeier era in Munich.  He depicted both the people of his time and the Bavarian landscape with a sure eye and a touch of satire.
