Jacek Sroka

Jacek Sroka (Born 1957) was active/lived in Poland.  Jacek Sroka is known for Painting.

Jacek Sroka was born in 1957 in Krakau, Poland. He studied at the Faculty of Graphics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In 1981 he graduated from the Copperplate Studio of professor M. Wejman and painted in the studio of professor J. Swiderski. In 1981-89 he worked as an assistant at his alma mater. He practices painting, graphics and drawing. Jacek Sroka was the winner of awards and distinctions, including at the Graphic Biennial in Mulhouse (1984), the International Miniature Exhibition in Toronto (1986), Graphica Atlantica in Reykjavik (1987), at the Graphic Biennale in Vaasa (1987), Grand Prix at the Graphic Biennale in Seoul (1988), I. Trybowski at the International Print Triennial in Krakow (1994). In 2001, he became the laureate of the W. Wojtkiewicz awarded by the Krakow circle of ZPAP for the most interesting individual exhibition presented in Krakow.
