Jack L. Thurston (Born 1919) was active/lived in Ontario, New York / Canada.  Jack Thurston is known for Military scale model sculpture, book illustration, educator.

A sculptor, educator and illustrator, Jack Thurston served during World War II as a sculptor to scale of enemy terrain.  In Rochester, New York, he served as an Art Director, and in New York City did illustration painting for book publishers.

Studies included the Buffalo Art Institute, Jepson's Fine Arts School, and the Art Center of Design in Hollywood.

He lived in Westchester County, New York.
