Jo Cantine is my wife's grandmother who died around 1989. My wifes name is Antonia Cantine Weidenbacher and we reside in Woodstock, NY.

Jo Cantine lived in Woodstock, NY and was the grand-daughter of the first president of Panama Jose Arosamena.

Her paintings are exhibited by her grand-son Peter Cantine in his restaurant called The Bear in Bearsville a hamlet of Woodstock.

She did a good bit of her work in the tropics returning to Woodstock for the summer.

The Woodstock Artist Association has some of her work and she has a painting in the Metropolitan Museum in NY.
