Karol Kossak

Karol Kossak (1896 - 1975) was active/lived in Poland.  Karol Kossak is known for Landscape.

Karol Kossak was born in 1896 in Lviv. Karol Kossak was the Grandson of Juliusz Kossak and the nephew of Wojciech Kossak. Kossak took painting lessons in Lviv with Zygmunt Rozwadowski and Stanislaw Kaczor Batowski. Kossak studied in Krakow, and also trained in the studio of Wojciech Kossak. In addition to the characteristics of Kossak themes related to horse motifs, Karol painted landscapes and made book illustration. He used almost exclusively watercolors and a feather. Karol Kossak passed away in 1975.
