Leslie Poole was born in 1942 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and received his B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Alberta in 1967.  He went on to earn an M.A. from Yale University in 1970. 

Poole is one of Canada’s most extensively recognized and collected artists, with over 100 solo exhibitions in Canada and the United States.  Poole has exhibited in many museums including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Art Gallery of Alberta, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, and the Kelowna Art Gallery.

His work is part of many major public, corporate and private collections including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, the Royal Bank, McGill University, Trimark Mutual Funds, and Rothschild Inc.

Leslie Poole was born in 1942 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and received his B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Alberta in 1967.  He went on to earn an M.A. from Yale University in 1970. 

Poole is one of Canada’s most extensively recognized and collected artists, with over 100 solo exhibitions in Canada and the United States.  Poole has exhibited in many museums including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Art Gallery of Alberta, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, and the Kelowna Art Gallery.

His work is part of many major public, corporate and private collections including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, the Royal Bank, McGill University, Trimark Mutual Funds, and Rothschild Inc.
