Paul Scheurich

Paul Scheurich (1883 - 1945) was active/lived in United States, Germany.  Paul Scheurich is known for Painting and sculpture.

Paul Scheurich was born in 1883. 

He was a sculptor, painter and illustrator.  Paul Scheurich is less known for his bronze sculptures, and more for his work with porcelain.  He is popular for his models for the Porcelain Manufactorys like Meissen, Karlsruhe, Nymphenburg and KPM Berlin.

From 1900 to 1902, he studied at the Berliner Akademie. Between 1918 and 1936, he created numerous figures in Rokoko style for the Porcelain Manufactory Meissen.  This has to be a preferred topic in his work, which he transfers in lots of models.

In 1939, he took part at the Große Deutsche Kunstausstellung in Munich with his work 'Hirt and Nymphe'.  Despite the rarity of his bronze sculptures, his work is highly favored.

He passed away in Brandenburg in 1945.
