Peter Lubbers

Peter Lubbers (1934 - 1982) was active/lived in Germany.  Peter Lubbers is known for Modernist paintings of flowers, landscape, skyscapes, houses and marine scenes.

Peter Lubbers: born in 1934 in Hamburg - died about 1982 in Hamburg, was a German painter and graphic artist. Studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg with Erich Hartmann, and since 1959, in the summer months on the North Sea coast, preferably on the islets.

Bird warden of Norderoog and co-founder of the Natural Park Wadden Sea, he married Elga Lubbers, and in 1963 their daughter was born.

For years, he was a lecturer at the Adult Education Center Hamburg. He died prematurely at age 48. 1982

For his collection, there is a "Lübbers-house" in Central Church Hinterdeich.

Exhibitions in Copenhagen, Caracas, Oberursel and constantly in Hamburg and on the Hallig Hooge.
