Raffaele Ragione

Raffaele Ragione (1851 - 1925) was active/lived in Italy.  Raffaele Ragione is known for Paris landscape and-cityscape paintings.

Raffaele Ragione was born in 1851.  He was an Italian painter from Naples, who lived in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century.  He was known for his impressionist genre paintings.

Ragione first studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in his hometown, where he was a pupil of Morelli und Lista.  His works were painted in Paris, and show rural and urban scenes of the city and its environment.  He also had a series of genre paintings, which present groups of figures in different variations situated in the Parisian parks.

Later in his life, the artist returned to Italy where he died in his hometown of Naples in 1919.
