Walter Engelhardt

Walter Albert Engelhardt (1893 - 1956) was active/lived in California, Illinois.  Walter Engelhardt is known for Landscape, commercial art.

Walter Albert Engelhardt was born in Illinois on Oct. 25, 1893, the brother of artists Henry and William Engelhardt.  Walter was a resident of Hollywood, CA by the early 1920s.  He maintained a residence at 6231 DeLongpre and the Engel Art Shop at 6707 Hollywood Blvd.  He died in Los Angeles on Jan. 4, 1956.  Using a bright palette, he painted bold, decorative landscapes of southern California.
