Alden Mote (1840 - 1917) was active/lived in Indiana, Ohio.  Alden Mote is known for Portrait and landscape painting.

Born West Milton Ohio 1840.  Died 1917 in Richmond, Indiana, where he lived for 30 years.  He studied with his uncle Marcus Mote, W H Hillard and Barton Hayes.  Mote was a member of  the Art Institute of Philadelphia, and the Art Association of Richmond.  He painted portraits and landscapes.
