Elie Kanaan

Elie Kanaan (1926 - 2009) was active/lived in Lebanon.  Elie Kanaan is known for Painting.

Lebanese painter, close to Georges Cyr and Jacques Villon among others, Élie Kanaan blossoms in a style on the borderline between figuration and abstraction, with soft, deep colors. He moved to Paris in the late 50s, traveling throughout Europe and the world before settling back in Lebanon where, in parallel with his painting, he became a professor at the Lebanese University of Beirut and the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts.
