Elizabeth Robbins

Elizabeth Robbins (Born 1962) is active/lives in Kansas, Utah.  Elizabeth Robbins is known for Floral still life and figure painting.

Elizabeth was raised in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah.  As a child, her Grandmothers would help her identify various wild flowers at their cabin above Oakley, Utah.  This is where her love of flowers began. "I still have the book where I pressed and categorized wild flowers that my paternal Grandmother helped me with."  She began painting in her early twenties but soon children became her priority and her love of painting was an occasional hobby.  As the children grew, so did her desire to expand on her art.

Her work is in private collections throughout the United States and in the Ella Dunnegan Museum in Bolivar, Missouri.

Elizabeth Robbins began to develop her appreciation for floral beauty during her childhood in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah.  Many of Robbins' still lives incorporate a multitude of cherished personal objects, including her own collection of Delftware china, porcelain teacups, and embroidered heirloom linens.

Robbins puts a great emphasis on continuing to evolve in her artistry and technique through her thoughtfully chosen compositions. Studies include workshops with Master Decorative Artist Mary Jo Leisure, as well as  oil painters Dan Gerhartz, Robert Johnson, Gregg Kreutz, Sherrie McGraw, and Xiang Zhang.
