Waldemar Swierzy

Waldemar Swierzy (1931 - 2013) was active/lived in Poland.  Waldemar Swierzy is known for Poster design.

A Polish poster artist, he was one of the most and best recognized graphic designers in Poland and in the world. Co-founder of the Polish poster school, professor of poster design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan and Warsaw. He received many awards for his artistic work, including: Grand Prix Toulouse Lautrec (Paris), The Hollywood Reporter Los Angeles, Sao Paulo Biennial, gold medals at the International Poster Biennials in Warsaw and Lahti.
