Born on January 1, 1947, in Przemysl. Graduated from the Plastic Arts High School of Jarosaw (1965). Studies at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in the workshops of Marian Konieczny and Jacek Puget (1965-1971). 

Diploma with honors in the studio of Wanda Llendziñska in 1971. From November 1971, he was assistant to Stefan Borzêcki at the sculpture workshop of the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In the years 1977-1985, he was in charge of courses in metal sculpture and engraving of medals. From 1985, head of the studio for first-year students at the Faculty of Sculpture.
