Bu Zhang

Bu Zhang (Born 1934) is active/lives in China.  Bu Zhang is known for Ink drawings.

Zhang Bu studied in Department of Chinese Painting of Central Academy of Fine Art in 1958.  He joined the Landscape Studio of Department of Chinese Painting in 1961 and he was guided by the Chinese painting masters Li Keran, Jiang Zhaohe, Li Kuchan and Ye Qianyu, etc.

Later, he was instructed by Li Keran to study the landscape painting.  He was an art director of newspaper organizations from 1963 to 1980.  After that, he became a full time artist and Top National Painter.
