Hans Kupelwieser (Born 1948) is active/lives in Austria.  Hans Kupelwieser is known for Sculpture.

Hans Kuppelwieser attended the Graphische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Vienna from 1970-73 and studied at the University of Applied Arts from 1976-82 under Bazon Brock, Peter Weibel and Herbert Tasquill. He works with media techniques such as photography and computer programs.  The two-dimensional works are further extended into the room.  Since 1995 Kuppelwieser is professor at the Technical University of Graz at the Faculty of Architecture and Head of the Institute of Contemporary Art.
