Manuel Capdevila Massana was a Spanish painter and goldsmith born in the early 20th century. He received his training in his father's workshop and attended classes at the Ateneo Polytechnicum. After being exposed to the avant-garde in Paris, he became passionate about painting and continued to work as a goldsmith while pursuing his painting career. He exhibited his paintings in various galleries and museums in Spain and Paris and was a founding member of the Salón de Octubre in Barcelona. He received several awards and honors throughout his career, including the Cross of Sant Jordi and the Gold Medal for Artistic Merit from the Barcelona City Council. He passed away in the late 20th century.
