Paul Bennett is a British artist who paints magnificent abstract seascapes and landscapes. He also specialises in portraits. What’s interesting about Paul’s method is that he tends to paint from memory, his aim being to create works that are abstract and expressive rather than representational.

We love the layers of texture on the artist’s canvases; his brushstrokes and palette knife marks give his scenes and portraits a wonderfully sensual tactility.??

Paul trained at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design. The artist is now recognised internationally for his work and has exhibited his paintings throughout the UK and as far afield as New York, Hong Kong and China.

??In 2012, Paul was listed as one of the Abstract Artist Gallery’s top ten artists. More recently, Art EWAA (based in London) selected him for a residency and ?show in Kyoto, Japan.Show less
