Peter Binoit was a German painter born in Cologne around 1590. He trained in Hanau under still-life painter Daniel Soreau, possibly alongside Sebastian Stoskopff and Peter and Isaac Soreau.

He worked in Frankfurt in the 1620s before returning to Hanau in 1627, where he married Daniel Soreau's niece. Binoit is considered one of the most important first-generation German painters of still lifes.

He died in Hanau in 1632.
