Zhang Xiao-Tao was born in Sichuan of China in 1970.  In 1996, Zhang graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (BFA).  Zhang is living and working in Beijing and Chengdu.  In 2001, Zhang Xiao-Tao had Solo exhibition in Tokyo Gallery of Japan, Flowers in the Dream.  In 2003, Akie Aricchi Art Contemporary Gallery presented Matrialistic Decay in Paris of France.  In Beijing and Japan, Beijing Tokyo Art Projets and Tokyo Gallery displayed Dream Factory- Rubbish heap in 2004, 2005.  In 2006, Zhang Xiao-Tao was invited to Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai Art Exhibition.  Zhang's art presents itself multifaceted and variant, and a new aspect of the world, of reality, of the present time and life.
